The electricity is basic need for modern human being, but unfortunately the people of Satto Katla are disturbed by poor electric supply in the area. The main cable lines which supply electricity are not managed properly by LESCO, the increasing household electricity connection, makes Satto Katla to looks like a spider web, the wires and cable are not managed regularly. The damaged cables could cause serious incident. These wires and cables are dangerous for not only locals but also for visitors. The upcoming monsoon season is going to make the situation worsen.

Moreover, Locality of Satto Katla is short of proper power supply from almost 3 months, LESCO has been unable to replace damaged transformers and supply cables. Unannounced and prolonged power outages is making difficult for the local perform their day to day tasks. Report of power tripping, fluctuation and low voltage has been received by management but no action has been taken Many citizens complained about the failure of their electrical appliances. Although the fasting month of Ramadan is about to come, the concerned authorities are failed to fulfill their promises to maintain proper power supply.

The people of Satto Katla have problem of poor infrastructure in area. The severe condition of roads are biggest prove of rough infrastructure. The condition worsens during and after the monsoon season. The rain further damaged the roads.

Most of the times the roads are filled with garbage. The material used in road makings is failed to bear the heavy load. Almost every street is damaged in Satto Katla, streets are getting holes in monsoon rains and resulting the accidents. It is not safe to drive vehicles on such roads. Local businessmen are unable transport goods. Therefore people demand a proper maintenance as their fundamental right. The whole transport system is badly affected due to the poor conditions of the roads. The request has been made by locals to concerned authorities to take necessary action in this regard.

The motorbikes accidents contribute to fatal causalities and reason for lose of human lives. The motor bikes of local people slip on muddy paths The lack of a proper drainage system is also damaging to roads. The present situation has really become painful and distressing for the citizens. These issues do not need rocket science to be solved. They can easily be avoided if the authorities spend on constructing quality roads and repair them on time.

The community of Satto Katla is facing water sewage problem, the village and town of Satto Katla lacks proper drainage system, the dirty water is health hazard for the local people of Satto Katla. Nearly it is impossible for the people to utilize social facilities as the majority of the parks, grounds and streets are short of sewage systems. Even the slighter rain at time of monsoon brings heavy damage. Satto Katla is typically an old area and lacks town planning and most of central areas are densely is populated.

Sewage system construction and maintenance is very essential, numerous types of plague will overcome the village and its surroundings, appropriate removal of water waste is only option to overcome hazards. The water accessibility in the falling gradually, The waste water of industry is used for irrigation of nearby farmlands. This polluted water is going to increase food pollution. In rural region, open puddle of waste water are an immense source of different diseases. People of Satto Katla are facing exposed sewage systems in the form of open pools, small wells, and open drainers etc. The people of Satto Katla are not happy, they asked a development from local government representatives

Government should introduces new and improved drainage methods, so that these recreational venues could be made useful during the upcoming long monsoon season during summers. Locals must try to reduce the usage of toxic pollutants water. In Addition, Government should also develop separate sewage and storm water lines. Government should implement the regulation on the industries, hospital, schools and market and to check their disposal methods.

Land snatching is everyday problem for the people belonging to Satto Katla community. The powerful land mafias are affecting life of local individuals . These land mafias belongs to different groups , they grabs the government and as well as local farmer‘s properties. The land mafias utilize land for their own use or for commercial purposes.  Land mafias rule beyond the law and order, the land grabbing is omnipotent reality of the area.

The people of Satto  Katla are living from generations, deep emotional association cause them to not leave their properties. The land grabber uses different tactics, the major groups of land mafia forcefully pursue locals to sell their land for very low profit. They also manipulate with powerful people, politicians and landlords. The development of area has been made slow by politicians to bother the local community, which make locals to leave the area. Once the powerful person grabs the land, huge amount of funds are invested for the development in order to benefit the new land owners.

Not only the land mafias and politician are affecting the local community but also the proprietors want to buy lands and for future investment.  The authorities of major housing schemes pressurize locals. The fertile green lands of Satto Katla are converted into brown lands in recent years and the farmers who ones were cultivating the lands are facing serious finical hardships   

The different powerful groups also threat each-other. The peace to area is discomforted; these groups use weapons and cross firing to show their aggression and dominance. Some local politicians have been apprehended many times, Superintendent has given no reason to suspect police compliance at any level, so far. However, given the nature of underworld networks, a thorough investigation is imperative for long term eradication.

The people of Satto Katla asked government to resolve land matters in order to maintain peace in area. The government and police should take strict actions against land mafia.

The Christian community of Satto Katla will celebrate the event of Easter during the upcoming month.  The Christian community has planned to gather on different spots of village to show gesture of harmony with Jesus Christ and God.

Christian population of Pakistan celebrates Easter with fullest customary religious enthusiasm and intensity nation wide, the religious celebration is occasion to remember the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Events are to be facilitated at different places of village Satto Katla, where the Christian groups will go for prayer of salvation and for the advancement of Pakistan. The main event will be organized in the central church of the village on the Easter eve.  Entire village will be illumined for some days, the families will gather for breakfasts, lunches and dinners during on those occasions.

Suriyia begum, ex-councilor on minority seat says, we have planned to celebrate this event very gracefully, the great religious leaders are expected to visit our village during this Easter.

The Pakistan is the place for religious harmony whereas every human being enjoys freedom of worship and prayer; the ideal statehood of Medina is taken as symbol of harmony where the minorities enjoyed full freedom. The Muslim population of Satto Katla ensured their full cooperation with the Christians as gesture of brotherhood.

Muhammad Hussein, Muslim teacher of the area says, we are going to celebrate this Easter with our Christian neighbors, as we celebrate their other events. We required religious harmony in each and every aspect of life.

The concept of Easter is based on celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, as described in the New Testament. The Muslims also believe on prophet-hood of Jesus Christ and they believe in the resurrection of Jesus, so this Easter will be celebrated by entire community.
